COURSE DESCRIPTION – ELECTIVE COURSES

Students are encouraged to take a number of concentration courses in one or more specialties within Traditional Chinese Medicine. Courses may not be offered every trimester. Student recommendations for additional classes are always welcome.

 

4001-O TCM Pediatrics
  This course introduces students to the techniques and management of childhood conditions.

4002-O TCM Neurology
  Further instruction on treating issues such as stroke, brain injuries and other neurological dysfunction.

4003-O TCM Dermatology
  This course teaches techniques to treat symptoms of skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis.

4004-O TCM Facial Rejuvenation
  This course teaches techniques designed to enhance facial appearance.

4005-O TCM for Side Effects of Western Medicine
  The course discusses treatment of common side effects associated with various medications.

4006-O TCM Sports Medicine
  Students learn to recognize and treat common athletic injuries.

4007-O TCM Geriatrics
  This course provides instruction on treating the ailments associated with aging.

4008-O TCM for Modern Conditions
  This course prepares students to treat various forms of addiction including smoking, drug addiction and obesity.
