ADMISSION

Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine welcomes applicants for admission who have completed a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale is also required; and basic computer literacy is desirable.  Provisional admission on a case-by-case basis may be granted to a candidate who does not meet one or more of the College’s minimum standards for admission.

Provisional admission on a case-by-case basis may be granted to a candidate who does not meet one or more of the College’s minimum standards for admission but has successfully completed a minimum of 60 semester hours or the equivalent in quarter credit hours at a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

A candidate may be considered by the Admissions Committee and admitted provisionally based upon the Committee’s determination that the applicant demonstrates a suitability for graduate-level study of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, and has successfully completed a minimum of 60 semester hours or the equivalent in quarter credit hours in a regionally accredited institution of higher education prior to consideration for provisional admission. As a condition of Provisional Admission, the candidate may be asked to submit to a personal interview with representatives of the College and/or to enroll in and pass, with a grade of C  or better, one or more courses at an accredited college during the candidate’s first year of enrollment in the program.  TCTCM now offers a concurrent bachelors degree along with the Master’s Degree. Transfer And International Students

Students interested in transferring to TCTCM from another TCM school will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Please use the link below for more specific information.
Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that the future is in the ability of our practitioners to be able to practice on a global basis. We welcome International Students and we have many students from other countries currently enrolled. The application for International Students may be downloaded using the link above or you may find more information here.
If you are a Transfer or International Student, it is recommended to start the application process as soon as possible before your desired semester of entrance as it does take slightly longer to process these types of applications.
